WorkReady Course Set in Sullivan

SULLIVAN — Sumner Adult Education will be offering a free 60 hour WorkReady certificate course.


Beginning Sept. 9, classes will be held each Wednesday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Sumner Adult Education’s Learning Center, which is located at the Sullivan town office building.

The purpose of WorkReady is to help participants learn the “soft skills” needed in the workplace.

Topics covered include, Getting to Work on Time, How To Be a Team Player, Taking Responsibility, Customer Service, Developing Positive Job Traits and the Real Cost of Absenteeism.

The free course is made possible by funding from the Tri-County Workforce Investment Board.
