TREMONT — The Tremont Consolidated School’s eighth-grade presents the 10th annual Running of the Wildcats 5-Kilometer Road Race and 1-mile fun run on Saturday, Oct. 2.
The 5K is number 9 in the Jack Russell’s Steakhouse Eden Point Series. Registration for the event is scheduled for 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. and the fun run at 9:30 a.m.
Registration on race day is $12 for the 5K and $5 for the fun run. The race begins at the Tremont school, passes Bass Harbor to the Swans Island Ferry Terminal and heads back again.
Proceeds go toward the eighth-grade class trip.
