TREMONT — Proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance that would regulate junkyards and communication towers will go to a second public hearing on Tuesday, Sept. 14.
No changes to the proposals were suggested Tuesday at the first public hearing on the amendments, according to code enforcement officer Carl Young.
A special town meeting is to follow the Sept. 14 public hearing at which voters will consider adoption of the amendments.
The town’s zoning ordinance advisory committee developed the proposals.
