Town Hill Plan on Agenda

BAR HARBOR — The town council will take up the subject of the Town Hill Comprehensive Plan when members gather for their goal-setting session on Sept. 7. Councilors were urged by planning board vice-chairman Perry Moore on Aug. 16 to place completion of the plan on their goals for this year.

Mr. Moore stated that planning board members feel they can reopen the plan, which was defeated by voters last year, identify the most divisive issues, and come up with a revised plan. Planning board members feel they can accomplish the project without the assistance of a town planner, as that position is now open, Mr. Moore said.
