“Touch of Maine” talks scheduled

BLUE HILL — The Blue Hill Public Library and Parker Ridge Senior Living Community, co-sponsors of “A Touch of Maine,” a weekly conversation with local personalities, will present a program with Matt Montgomery, operations director for the Lawrence Family Fitness Center in Blue Hill and the head coach for the Down East Family YMCA swim team, on Friday, April 16, at 1:30 p.m.

Montgomery moved to Maine from the Virgin Islands in 1998. He has been awarded Maine State Coach of the Year four times. 

On Friday, April 23, the guest will be Blue Hill Library Director Rich Boulet. A bilingual Franco-American, Boulet grew up in central Maine and has also lived in Quebec. In his spare time, he rides a motorcycle off-road, plays pond hockey and walks around Blue Hill Village.
