Touch-a-Truck Event Is May 14

TRENTON — On Saturday, May 14, at the Bar Harbor Hancock County Airport, Harbor House Community Service Center and the Westside Food Pantry are teaming up to present the third annual “Touch-a-Truck” event.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will benefit both the food pantry and the Harbor House Children’s Center Scholarship Fund.


Admission is $5 per person or $20 per family. The event will feature an excavator, earthmovers, backhoes, rescue vehicles, fire trucks, a police cruiser, 18-wheeler, drill boom, forklift and many other huge vehicles.

There will also be raffles for a biplane ride, two round-trip tickets from Bar Harbor to Boston on Colgan Air, a chance to drive an excavator in a gravel pit and two season passes to the Wild Acadia Fun Park.

Fun family fare will be provided by Mainely Meats.
