BUCKSPORT — Three Deer Isle youths were summoned on alcohol charges on Route 1 April 10.
Kimberly Kral, 18, and a 17-year-old girl were summoned on charges of illegal possession of alcohol by a minor. A 17-year-old boy was summoned on a charge of illegal transportation of liquor by a minor.
Accidents
The driver of a tow truck backed into a vehicle that was attempting to go around him in a Route 1 parking lot April 11, according to police.
Police said Mark Thomas, 45, of Stockton Springs was positioning his 2005 tow truck to tow a vehicle when the truck struck a 2003 Suzuki operated by Nicole Sealy, 33, of Bucksport.
The Suzuki had an estimated $2,000 in damage. The tow truck had no reported damage.
A 2002 Buick backed into a parked 2005 Chrysler van in the Jewett School parking lot April 7.
Carol Buchanan, 75, of Orland was the driver of the Buick, which had $100 in damage. The van had about $1,000 in damage.
Arrests
Brenda Babb, 38, Bucksport, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.
Assault
A woman who reported a man grabbed her and kicked her out of a car on Millvale Road April 10 did not want to press charges, according to police.
Fraud
A Main Street resident reported a possible scam April 9.
Police said a company called EMI Service has withdrawn $60 from the woman’s bank account without permission.
Vandalism
A Masthill Road resident reported a damaged mailbox and post April 10.
Estimated damage was $123.
Disturbance
Police failed to locate the source of gunshots reported on Silver Lake Road April 11.
A band practice at a Franklin Street residence April 7 disturbed a neighbor.
Band members said they would stop practice at 8 p.m.
Phone Harassment
Two people were warned for sending harassing text messages April 11.
Unwanted Guest
A woman was served an order not to enter a local business April 9.
Littering
The Highway Department was called to pick up a deer carcass in a plastic bag on Silver Lake Road April 6.
Animal Complaint
A woman reported a dog attacked her leashed dog while she was walking it on the Miles Lane trails April 11. Her pet sustained a tear on its ear.
