Talk to Focus on Obama Performance

BAR HARBOR — On Friday, May 22, Acadia Senior College continues its public luncheon series at Birch Bay Village Inn, Hulls Cove. This month, Acadia Senior College President Emeritus Jim Clunan will speak on “Not Since Lincoln: How is Obama Doing?”

Clunan will share his thoughts on how well Obama is doing in dealing with the foreign policy demands his new administration faces.

Clunan has lived year round in Mount Desert since 1998. He serves on the town planning board.
With his spouse, Dorothy, he established Acadia Senior College. He was the college’s president from 2000 to 2008.

Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and costs $8. The lecture is from noon to 1 p.m.

Reservations are required and may be made by contacting the Acadia Senior College office at 288-9500.

Regular office hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
