Talk scheduled in Sullivan July 21

SULLIVAN — Friends of Taunton Bay will present a talk titled “Essential Wildlife Habitats in the Taunton Bay Watershed” on Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at the Taunton Bay Education Center, 11 Wharf Road in Sullivan.

Steve Walker, program coordinator of the Beginning with Habitats Program for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, will explain the many habitats that have been identified in our area for rare, threatened or endangered species, inland waterfowl, wading birds, fish and mammals. Find out which ones are near your property, and how you can help protect them.
