Talk scheduled at Dorcas Library



GOULDSBORO — All are welcome to attend the opening event for the Schoodic Entrepreneurship Center on Thursday, Sept. 20, at 4 p.m. at the Dorcas Library in Prospect Harbor.

The group will host monthly conversations about work skills, entrepreneurship, mentoring, collaboration and partnership.

On Sept. 20, Alan Caron will speak about the book he co-wrote with Sen. Angus King, “Maine’s Next Economy: How the State’s Innovators, Entrepreneurs and Doers are Growing a New Prosperity.”

The Schoodic Entrepreneurship Center at Dorcas is made possible by a grant from the Maine Community Foundation. The conversations will be held in partnership with RSU 24 Adult Education and the Maine Department of Labor (Machias Career Center).
