Talk scheduled at Blue Hill Library



BLUE HILL — On Friday, June 21, 7 p.m. at the Blue Hill Public Library, Bob and Maurine Tobin of Deer Isle will give a talk about occupied Palestine.

They recently traveled to Gaza and the West Bank, including a visit to Khan Al Ahmar, a Bedouin village under threat of demolition.

Since 2005, the Tobins have served as volunteers for Sabeel Jerusalem, a Palestinian Christian Liberation Theology center and are supporters of Al Ahli Anglican Hospital in Gaza City.

The program is being hosted by Peninsula Peace & Justice. All are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
