BAR HARBOR — A film called “Rock Solid,” about the Schoodic Sculpture Symposium, is airing all this week on Time Warner Cable channel 2.
The film covers artists who were at this summer’s symposium, including Songul Telek of Turkey, who created a sculpture for Barker Park downtown. A group of residents have been working to raise $8,000 to pay for the sculpture, and, to date, still need $1,525. The film airs through Monday, Dec. 21, daily at 5:45 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Anyone interested in making a donation for the sculpture can contact Sherry Rasmussen at 288-9428.
