Sculptor Talk in Bar Harbor

Jimmy Grashow

BAR HARBOR — While many sculptors seek permanence in marble, bronze or wood, Jimmy Grashow is known for creating his work out of corrugated cardboard.

The artist will be talking about his work when he gives the 2012 Allan Stone Lecture on Thursday, Sept. 27, at 4:15 in College of the Atlantic’s Gates Community Center on Eden Street in Bar Harbor.

Additionally, a collaborative installation, created with COA students, will be shown at the college’s Ethel H. Blum Gallery during the month of October.
