Science Cafe

MOUNT DESERT —The third Science Café will feature Robert Morris, a biology professor at Wheaton College and a visiting scientist at Mount Desert Island Biological Laboratory, (MDIBL) discussing how marine organisms have helped scientists solve many biological mysteries, Monday, July 16.

“People are surprised when they find out what we’ve learned about human health from sea urchins, eels and sharks,” said Dr. Morris.

The Science Café talks begin at 5 p.m. at the Asticou Inn in Northeast Harbor. The talks, which are sponsored by MDIBL, are free and refreshments are served.
