Savings and loan to hold open house

BAR HARBOR — Bar Harbor Savings and Loan is hosting an open house on Tuesday, Sept. 24, to celebrate their newly renovated office space and to say farewell to a long-time employee.

The bank has just completed a major renovation project that involved expanding their office space into adjoining retail space. The multi-phased project was finished at the end of August. Main Street in downtown Bar Harbor has been brightened by the bank’s updated exterior facade.

Bar Harbor Savings and Loan invites the public to stop by and tour the newly renovated office during the open house on Tuesday, Sept. 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The work of David Desfosses is featured in the latest “Art on Wall exhibit,” on display until the end of October.

The bank is located at 103 Main Street. It was established in 1902.
