BAR HARBOR — The town’s winter road sand this year will be supplied by John W. Goodwin, Jr. construction company of Southwest Harbor.
The Goodwin company came in with the lowest bid of $24,552 for a total of 3,300 yards of sand. That amounts to a price of $7.44 per yard. The bid was awarded on Aug. 16.
