Sale, Programs at Blue Hill Library

BLUE HILL — The Friends of Blue Hill Public Library will hold their first-Saturday-of-the-month book sale on Nov. 5 in the library’s basement “book nook.”

The sale will be held during regular library hours, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

To donate books that are in good condition or for more information, contact the library at 374-5515.

The Friends group’s film series continues Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. with a showing of “Midnight Cowboy” (1969), starring Dustin Hoffman and Jon Voight.

All films are shown free of charge in the library’s Howard Room.

“Sewing with Rich’s Mom” sessions are back at the library on Nov. 12 and 19 and Dec. 3 and 17.

The sessions, which run from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., are led by Louise Boulet, mother of Library Director Rich Boulet.

Participants are invited to bring their sewing machines, their projects and their questions.

The workshop is for adults and there is no charge, but registration is required.
