ELLSWORTH — The Maine Alliance for Addiction Recovery invites women in recovery to an afternoon tea Saturday, May 14, where they can learn about the Recovering Women’s Leadership Training weekend.
The tea will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Ellsworth Public Library (downstairs). It is an opportunity to explore the three-day Women’s Leadership Training Program, which is a supportive and structured way to cultivate personal strengths and learn how to use them as a leader in one’s community and networks. The goal is to enable women to use their own experiences to advocate for themselves and others and to feel empowered as a leader.
Women will share recovery support with other women in the area.
There is no charge.
Information: 667-6716 or 667-6108.
