SOUTHWEST HARBOR — Want to learn how to prune your shrubs and trees?
In conjunction with the Hancock County Extension Office, the Southwest Harbor Conservation Commission will offer its annual pruning class taught by extension educator Marjorie Peronto on Thursday, April 16, from 9:30 a.m. until noon. The class will be in the butterfly garden at the Charlotte Rhoades Park, and will cover basic pruning techniques and proper use of equipment. The cost for the class is $10 and will be limited to 15 participants.
