ORLAND — On Sunday afternoon, Aug. 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at HOME in Orland, there will be a presentation on immigration reform.
All are invited to bring food to donate to the potluck dinner and to join in the discussion.
Margaret de Rivera and others with Maine Refugee Assistance will speak about their experience in helping Haitian immigrants gain refugee status in Canada.
The potluck is being sponsored by HOME, Narramissic Monthly Meeting (Quaker), Maine Refugee Assistance Program and St. Francis Community.
The potluck dinner will be in the Market Stand building.
