Program on Census set in Blue Hill

BLUE HILL — The public is invited to learn about changes in the 2020 Census, employment opportunities, and other new developments at the Blue Hill Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 19, at 6:30 p.m.

Becky Hayes Boober of the U.S. Census Bureau will share how the 2020 Census is safe, important and even easier to complete than before.

Census results determine how federal funding is divided up among communities to pay for roads, schools, hospitals and many other services. The results also influence political redistricting.

This event is being sponsored by the library and Healthy Peninsula. There is no change and everyone is welcome.
