“ProFOGative” Film Series kicks off at The Grand

ELLSWORTH – On Tuesday, July 9, at 6:30 p.m., Fogtown Brewing Company will begin its “ProFOGative” beer-tasting film series for 2019 with the legendary Sam Elliott starring in “The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot.”

See the film the way the director intended – on a state-of-the-art digital projection system – while sampling locally brewed beer from Fogtown Brewery. Ticket prices for “ProFOGative” films are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and students, and $6 for Grand members.

Fogtown was founded in 2017 in Ellsworth by longtime friends Jon Stein and Ian Heyse. Now, they partner with The Grand to bring film and beer that provoke conversation once a month, giving the audience the opportunity to vote on future films booked at the theater and future beers sold there as well. The tasting is at 6:30 p.m. Then at 7, the audience will sit down and view four trailers for possible future “ProFOGative” films, voting on those which they want to see in the future. The feature film begins at 7:30.
