Play Reading Group Meets April 21

BLUE HILL — The public is invited to participate in the Blue Hill Public Library’s monthly play reading group on Wednesday, April 21, at 7 p.m.

Beforehand, at 6:30, there will be a discussion of the play and playwright and participants are welcome to bring a brown bag dinner.

The play selected for this month is Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award-winning play “God of Carnage.”

The play is about two pairs of parents, one of whose child has hurt the other at a public park, who meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner. However, as the evening goes on, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into chaos.

The group welcomes inexperienced and experienced readers alike.
