New session of LIVESTRONG program starting at the MDI YMCA

BAR HARBOR — The MDI YMCA will begin a new session of the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA Program on Monday, June 23rd.

LIVESTRONG at the YMCA is a free research-based physical activity and well-being program designed to help adult cancer survivors reclaim their total health. The program provides a safe and supportive environment for cancer survivors to regain their physical, emotional and spiritual strength. By focusing on the whole person and not the disease, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA helps people move beyond cancer in spirit, mind and body.

The personal group training will go through Friday, Aug. 29, but the membership is free for the survivor and their immediate family members through Friday, Sept. 12th.

If you or someone you know could benefit from this program, please contact Doreen Willett at 288-3511 or [email protected]
