Movies for Teens In Blue Hill

BLUE HILL — The Blue Hill Public Library will be hosting movies for teens once a month on Tuesday afternoons at 3 starting Tuesday, Jan. 19.

Admission is free.

The series, which will feature movies that are based on books, will start with “Hoot,” the story of some Florida teenagers who take on crooked politicians and bumbling cops to try to save endangered burrowing owls.

The films will be shown on the big screen in the Howard Room and snacks will be served.

Following the movie, those who are interested can stick around and join a discussion of how the movie differed from the book.
