Mariaville-Otis News of Neighbors

The town of Osborn is, indeed, over the river and through the woods from where we live, but you can get there from here. And if you find my introductory indulgence as silly as I do, forgive me.

There isn’t much news to report in our towns this week, so we ventured east a bit to tell you of an upcoming film documentary, “A Glimpse of Osborn-Past, Present and Future,” which will be shown on Friday, April 30, at 7 p.m. at the Osborn Town Community Building. Culturally and historically, our little Union River towns are closely intertwined. Head north on Route 179. The building is located on top of the hill, on the right. Admission is free. The event is open to the public and they hope to see a bunch of history buffs there.

Thanks go to Norma Hardison for the information. Please call her at 584-3754 if you have questions.
