Maine AllCare program Jan. 30

SOUTHWEST HARBOR — All are welcome to come to the Southwest Harbor Public Library on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 5:30-7 p.m., to learn about Maine AllCare, the growing movement for universal health care for Maine.

Since 2010, Maine AllCare has been working toward a solution to the health care crisis, built on universal coverage, cost constraints and public funding.

As of the end of 2018, Maine AllCare has gathered nearly 40,000 cards of support for this effort from Mainers in all 16 counties, held dozens of public events and engaged with a Maine legislative task force on health care.

For more information, call the library at 244-7065 or visit www.swhplibrary.org.
