“Local Yokels” to share Surry tales July 16

SURRY — Surry Historical Society’s annual “Local Yokels” presentation will be held Monday, July 16, at 7 p.m. at the Old Town Hall.

The hall is at 1217 Route 172 in Surry.

Colorful characters will share amusing tales from the old days in Surry. Admission is free.
