BROOKSVILLE—The Good Life Center will present Hector Sapien as part of its Monday Night Speaker Series on Monday, Aug. 20, at 7 p.m. His talk is titled “Surviving Trauma.”
Local clinical social worker and counselor Sapien will discuss the role of stress and trauma in our lives and how to optimize growth development to achieve “a good life.”
“Living Sanely in a Troubled World,” the subhead to Helen and Scott Nearing’s book “Living the Good Life,” is the central concept for the Good Life Center’s 2018 Summer Speaker Series.
