Library Hosting Vacation Programs

BLUE HILL — The Blue Hill Public Library will offer “Boredom Buster” activities scheduled for April school vacation week.

In celebration of National Poetry Month, children ages 6 and up are invited on Tuesday, April 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. to shout, dance and have fun with poetry.


Also on April 19, from 3 to 5 p.m., children age 8 and up are invited to make a miniature golf course at the library.

Participants will create an outdoor course with items from the library. If it rains, they will play board games inside. Registration is required.

On Friday, April 22, two movies will be shown complete with free popcorn. For children age 4-8, Hayao Miyazaki’s “Sherlock Hound” will be shown from 1 to 3 p.m. For children age 9 and older, the movie will be “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1” from 3:15 to 5:45 p.m.
