Lecture scheduled at Bay School



BLUE HILL — The third annual collaborative speaker event, jointly hosted by local organizations, will feature Patrick Cullina at the Bay School’s Emlen Hall on Tuesday, June 26, at 7 p.m.

Cullina is an award-winning horticulturist, landscape designer, photographer, lecturer and consultant based in Manhattan with more than 20 years of experience in the landscape field.

Using many photographic examples, Cullina will draw upon “lessons from regional ecologies and examine strategies for creating transformative landscapes” in his presentation.

This event is being co-sponsored by 10 local organizations: Blue Hill Garden Club, Blue Hill Heritage Trust, Brooklin Garden Club, Colloquy Downeast, Downeast Audubon, Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust, Island Heritage Trust, Maine Coast Heritage Trust, Native Gardens of Blue Hill and Wild Seed Project. A reception will follow the talk.

The program is open to the public with a suggested donation at the door of $10 per person or $5 for students and seniors.
