Lecture on Cougars Slated for April 11

WINTER HARBOR — Mark McCollough will speak on Saturday, April 11, at 7 p.m. at Moore Auditorium on the campus of the Schoodic Education and Research Center.

His presentation, titled “The Eastern Cougar: Wild Cats or Wild Imaginations?” is part of the Second Saturday lecture series sponsored by Acadia Partners for Science and Learning, Acadia National Park and the Schoodic Committee of Friends of Acadia.

McCollough, an endangered species biologist for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, recently completed an extensive review of the status of the eastern cougar for the federal government.
