BLUE HILL — A kite-making workshop will be offered at the Blue Hill Public Library on Sunday, March 18, from 1-2:30 p.m.
The workshop, sponsored by Voices for Creative Nonviolence, is inspired by youth from the Afghan Peace Volunteers who are working for a peaceful, sustainable world.
Basic kite-making materials will be available for those who pre-register by March 16. Those who already have kites are welcome to join the group, weather permitting, at the end of the workshop to fly kites near the waterfront.
All ages are welcome and the event is free.
To pre-register or for more information, contact Carolyn Coe at 852-6696 or [email protected]
