Kids beach cleanup scheduled July 25

BLUE HILL — Kids and families are invited to a beach cleanup at Peter’s Cove on the East Blue Hill Road as part of the Blue Hill Public Library’s “Conservation Kids” program on Wednesday, July 25.

Interested volunteers can meet at the library at 10 a.m. Caregivers will then transport kids to the site.

This project is the third in a series of five “Conservation Kids” projects by the library that are intended to engage youth volunteers to positively affect the environment and community on the Blue Hill Peninsula.

The projects are designed to teach kids proactive steps they can take to make a difference in helping to preserve the natural world around them.
