Keeping Society Meets July 28

BROOKLIN — The next meeting of the Brooklin Keeping society will be held on Thursday, July 28, at Odd Fellows Hall, Bay Road in Brooklin.

The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., followed by a program at 7.

The program is titled “Encounters with Andy: E.B. White’s Livelihood in Brooklin.”

The program is one in a series on Brooklin’s livelihoods. Earlier programs have covered early history, forestry, boatyards, farming, fishing and the Naskeag settlements before 1600.

The program will be an informal conversation about White’s interaction with local residents.
