ELLSWORTH — Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County is hosting a special retreat day to offer support and comfort for those who are grieving the death of a loved one.
Focused on the theme “Weaving Healing and Hope in the Midst of Change,” the retreat features activities to help participants learn new ways of weaving healing and hope into their daily lives.
The retreat is offered free of charge and is open to anyone dealing with issues of grief and loss.
The retreat will be held Saturday, Sept. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hospice Volunteers of Hancock County offices, 14 McKenzie Ave. in Ellsworth.
Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, Sept. 18.
