Hospice Day Camp Set for Aug. 15

ELLSWORTH — Hospice of Hancock County is sponsoring its annual Caring Hearts Day Camp for grieving adults, teens and children on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Nichols Day Camp in Sedgwick.

The theme this year is “The Power of Music to Inspire, Comfort and Renew.”

Attendance at the camp is free of charge, though pre-registration is required, by calling the Hospice of Hancock County office at 667-2531.

The camp is designed to be a healing place to gain insights, learn healthy coping skills, build self-esteem and meet new friends.

The camp provides a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities and support for all age groups, including support groups, swimming, music, healthy creative expression of emotions and more.

A responsible adult must accompany children 17 and under.
