Home Beer Brewing Topic of Program

BLUE HILL — The Blue Hill Public Library’s “Good Tools for Tough Times” series continues with a workshop on brewing beer on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m.

Local home brewer Al Strong will share with participants how to get started in brewing beer and will also advise and answer questions from aspiring brewers.

Strong lives in Sedgwick and has been brewing beer for over 12 years. He encourages home brewers to relax and have fun while they’re brewing. He bottles beer and also brews for a home keg system, allowing him to enjoy his own beer on tap.

The workshop will be in the library’s Roland Howard Room.

Admission is free.
