Historical Society Meets April 11

ELLSWORTH — The Ellsworth Historical Society will meet Monday, April 11, at 7 p.m. in the dining hall of the Meadowview Retirement Complex.

The speakers will be David Thompson and Jean LeBoucher from the Ellsworth Telephone Museum. They will be speaking about the museum and its collections from the history of the Telephone Network from Alexander Graham Bell’s patent in 1876 through the era of switchboard operators and early dial telephones to the more complex micro switching systems that preceded digital technology.


All meetings of the historical society are open to the public.
