Henries to Speak In NE Harbor

NORTHEAST HARBOR — On Sunday, Oct. 18, Hawk Henries will be the speaker and musician at the 10 a.m. service at the Union Church Parish House in Northeast Harbor.


Henries is a member of the northeastern Algonquin tribe called the Nipmuc. He is a master flute player and has performed extensively in the area as well as nationally and internationally.

He is also a story teller and a humorist. In addition to playing his own songs, he will talk about some of the life lessons he has learned as a musician and a flutemaker.

The public is invited and all ages are welcome.

Audience participation is welcome.
