BAR HARBOR — Reel Pizza is hosting an event to raise community awareness about Lyme disease and as a benefit for single Bar Harbor mom Emily Bracale who has been ill for several years with the disease.
It will be a screening on Saturday, March 20 at 1:30 p.m. of “Under Our Skin,” a dramatic expose and gripping tale that addresses one of the most serious epidemics of our times. It investigates the untold story of Lyme disease; each year thousands go undiagnosed or misdiagnosed, told that their symptoms are “all in their head.” This award-winning documentary is unrated, but serious in content.
Suggested donation is $10 per person.
