Health talk at MCMH Nov. 14

ELLSWORTH — Maine Coast Memorial Hospital will be hosting a free health education event, “Varicose and Spider Veins: Common Questions and Treatments,” on Monday, Nov. 14, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the hospital classroom (Door C).

Varicose and spider veins are common issues that can develop at any stage of life, caused by a number of things, including heredity, being on your feet all day or pregnancy. These conditions can be painful and bothersome, but there are a variety of non-surgical and surgical treatment options available.

Dr. Stephen Nightingale of Coastal Skin Center will speak about the treatment options available for these conditions.

A healthy meal will be served at this event, so registration is required.

To register, call 664-5337 or visit www.mainehospital.org.
