Ham Radio License Exams in Ellsworth

ELLSWORTH — Anyone wishing to earn an amateur ham radio license or upgrade to a higher class FCC license will have an opportunity to do so Thursday, Dec. 1, at 6:30 p.m. in Ellsworth.

The Ellsworth Amateur Wireless Association is sponsoring the event. Volunteer examiners will proctor tests in the Phase IV Dining Hall of Meadow View Apartments on Tweedie Lane.

Anyone wishing to take the exam must bring a legal photo ID or two forms of other identification. The test fee is $15.
