ELLSWORTH — The Hancock County Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting a nontraditional solutions to gravel road problems workshop on Tuesday, June 16, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Maine Grind in Ellsworth. The workshop is a combination of classroom and in-the-field training that instructs participants on how to install practical, cost-effective fixes to significantly improve their roads and protect water quality.
The workshop will be presented by professionals from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection and the Maine Department of Agriculture.
