ELLSWORTH — The Hancock County Planning Commission and Washington Hancock Community Agency (WHCA) will hold a meeting on a septic and well replacement grant program on Thursday, Feb. 4, at 4 p.m. in the council chambers at Ellsworth City Hall.
The Planning Commission and WHCA are working with area towns to seek a multi-town Community Development Block Grant that would fund the replacement of failing wells and septic systems for income-qualifying households.
Anyone interested in learning more about the program is encouraged to attend the Feb. 4 meeting.
Anyone unable to attend is welcome to contact Tom Martin (667-7131) for more information.
