Grange Launches Project Survey

BLUE HILL — The Kitchen Committee of the North Blue Hill Halcyon Grange has launched a new survey designed to measure both the level of interest and the range of uses of a planned year-round community kitchen facility at the Grange.

An initial survey conducted by the committee this spring indicated that there is substantial general interest in such a facility among the Blue Hill Peninsula communities and beyond. The expanded survey will collect additional data on the types of equipment needed and the frequency of use envisioned by potential users of the facility.

Respondents also will have the option of participating in the planning process or signing up for occasional project updates.

To take the survey online, go to or visit the Grange’s Facebook page (Halcyon Grange No. 345). Hard copies of the survey are available at the Blue Hill Co-op, John Edwards, and on the Tradewinds bulletin board.

Participants are encouraged to submit survey responses by Friday, Aug. 3.
