Geocaching Talk At Library May 9

ELLSWORTH — On Saturday May 9, at 10 a.m. at the Ellsworth Public Library, Tom Tieman will share his experiences with the sport of geocaching.

After a PowerPoint presentation and time for questions, Tieman and other experienced geocachers will be available for field trips to local caches.

Tieman has been a geocacher since January 2002. He has found over 1,700 caches on three continents, in six countries and 31 states.

As an advisory board member of a local geocaching Web site, Tieman has helped foster a friendly community atmosphere for discussing and planning the recreational experiences geocaching offers.
