Garden club to celebrate 85th birthday

BLUE HILL— To celebrate its 85th anniversary and enrich the community, the Brooklin Garden Club will present “Art in Bloom: A Festival of Maine Art and Flowers” on July 10 and 11 at The Bay School’s Emlen Hall. Proceeds from the event will benefit the club’s educational and community programs.

Founded in 1935, the Brooklin Garden Club’s members include year-round and seasonal Maine residents of Blue Hill, Brooklin, Brooksville, Harborside, Hancock, Little Deer Isle, Penobscot, Sargentville and Sedgwick.
