ELLSWORTH — Woodlawn will offer a floor cloth art workshop on Friday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with artist Patience Sampson.
In this workshop, Sampson will teach the technique for this decorative art popular in the 18th century. Participants will create their own 2-foot-by-3-foot floor cloth made of durable canvas.
The cost of the workshop is $60 for Woodlawn members and $70 for nonmembers and includes all materials.
Participants are asked to bring a bag lunch.
Space is limited, so pre-registration is required by calling Woodlawn at 667-8671.
