Fitness Candidate is Sought

BAR HARBOR — Want to trim down and get fit in 2012?

The Mount Desert Islander and MDI YMCA are teaming up again to offer one person a winter’s worth of personal training, weight loss and fitness coaching as part of iResolve 2012, following the fantastic experience of Carmen Greene in 2011 who lost more than 100 pounds and changed her life.

Anyone interested in being considered for iResolve 2012 should contact Melinda Rice at [email protected] by Dec. 16. Candidates must live on Mount Desert Island.

The YMCA will provide membership and training at no charge, and the Islander will document the journey in words and photos in the paper and online for a year, starting Jan. 5.
